What was that poem from Fridge? Is it original, or something left at the back of the Fridge for too long?

I’m still up for Wales winning, England a close-ish second and Scotland the wooden spoon.

Top of Dodderers Fantasy League – so I obviously know what I’m talking about 😉

Mike, you’ve forgotten France. Final Table prediction

    1. Wales (Grand Slam)
    2. Ireland
    3. France
    4. England
    5. Scotland
    6. Italy

Although Scotland and Italy tied on points – Scotland to edge it on pts difference.

My hen laid a haddock, one hand oiled a flea,
Glad farts and centurions threw dogs in the sea,
I could stew a hare here and brandish Dan’s flan,
Don’s ruddy bog’s blocked up with sand.
Dad! Dad! Why don’t you oil Auntie Glad?
Can whores appear in beer bottle pies,
O butter the hens as they fly!

    Come on Wales

Although I am not as damning as Simo in my England analysis, I do not think they will win – I think 4th on the table (above Scotland and Italy). The Ireland-France game was a cracker, with the result throwing the competition wide open. Wales showed their championship credentials versus Scotland, who were never in it. I cannot pick a winner between Ireland or Wales, and I think France will be third.

Scotland are looking like taking the wooden spoon.

After England’s dismal peformance with 16 men (15 + Bergamasco) they are clearly bereft of ideas, talent or desire. They will finish fifth in the Table. Scotland to run Wales close…. maybe more than close…. Ireland to win the Championship.
